About Me

Hey, I’m Lace, welcome to my little kitchen corner on the internet.

Honestly, I didn’t grow up thinking I’d care this much about what’s on my plate. In my early 20s, I lived on iced coffee and freezer meals like it was a sport. But somewhere around 25, my body started whispering things, tiredness that didn’t go away, skin that flared up out of nowhere, moods I couldn’t shake.

It took me a while (and several failed attempts) to realize food wasn’t just fuel, it was communication. The way I fed myself was the way I treated myself.

I started “Lace Recipes” not because I had all the answers, but because I needed a space to figure it out. I wanted simple, nourishing recipes that didn’t talk down to me, didn’t require a Whole Foods haul, and didn’t taste like cardboard.

I’m 31 now, living in soft rhythm with my kitchen. I still mess up pancakes. I still eat chocolate. But I’ve learned how to build meals that actually make me feel good, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

This blog is for anyone trying to eat healthier without becoming someone else entirely. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by wellness culture or guilty over takeout, pull up a chair. You’re in the right place.

Let’s keep it real, keep it tasty, and take care of ourselves, one homemade thing at a time.

xo,
Lace
